A Destiny 2 clan is where raid teams come from. Fireteam Finder will fill a strike, but a Contest-mode raid, a Master dungeon or a Flawless Trials card goes far better with six people who already know each other's callouts. Browse clan recruitment posts below, or post your own with your platform, time zone and the activities you actually want to run.
A clan holds up to 100 members, and your whole Bungie account belongs to one clan at a time — every character you play joins it together. Clans are cross-play, so a PC founder can recruit PlayStation and Xbox players into the same roster, though voice chat and party invites still run through each platform or Discord.
In practice a clan is less about in-game perks than about people. The value is a Discord with an LFG channel, a few experienced Sherpas who teach raids, and enough active members that a six-person team forms on a weeknight without anyone posting in a public channel.
Most recruiting clans care more about availability and attitude than raw stats. Endgame clans add requirements — usually a raid clear count you can prove on raid.report or a Trials history on destinytrialsreport.com.
Ask how many members were online last week rather than how many are on the roster — a 100-member clan with eight active players is a smaller clan than it looks. Teaching clans (Sherpa clans) suit newer Guardians; day-one raid clans expect you to know encounters and show up on reset. Check whether the clan runs scheduled events or relies on whoever happens to be online: scheduled clans finish more raids.
LF raid clan — PC (cross-play on), EU / CET, free Mon, Wed and Thu from 19:00. Hunter, 9 raid clears, never done Salvation's Edge and want to learn it. Mic and Discord.
Clan recruiting — 40 active members, PS5 / PC cross-play, NA East. Weekly raid night Fridays, Sherpa runs on Sundays. New lights welcome, mic required.
Up to 100. Your Bungie account joins one clan at a time, and all of your characters are part of it.
Yes. Clans are cross-play, so one clan can hold PC, PlayStation and Xbox players. Most clans use Discord for voice so platforms do not matter.
Find a clan that fits your schedule, then request to join through the clan screen in the game or on Bungie.net. Most clans also ask you to join their Discord. On AnySquad you can answer a recruitment post directly, or post your own so recruiters find you.
Plenty will. Teaching (Sherpa) clans exist for exactly that. Say it up front in your post; an honest beginner is easier to place than someone who overstates their clears.
