VRChat LFG — Find Worlds and People to Hang Out With

VRChat LFG made simple. AnySquad shows live lobbies looking for people to explore worlds and hang out together — filter by activity and region, then join a group instead of wandering a public instance alone.

VRChat's social spaces are built entirely around other real people — an empty or dead public instance is a much smaller part of what the platform actually offers than a group actively exploring or chatting together.

Find a VRChat duo, or build a full squad

Not every night needs a full squad. A duo is the lowest-friction way to play VRChat with someone better than a random fill — one person you can actually talk to, no scheduling, no roster. Most hosts on AnySquad are looking for exactly that: one more player, right now.

When you do want the full squad, post the slots you still need rather than waiting to be found. A lobby that says what it is missing fills faster than a profile that lists what you play. Hosts set the party size when they create the lobby, so the feed above already tells you whether a post needs one player or four — you are never guessing whether there is room.

VRChat on PC

VRChat lobbies on AnySquad are tagged by platform, so a post you can see is a post you can join. Hosts pick which platforms are welcome when they create the lobby.

How to write a VRChat LFG post that actually gets replies

Most LFG posts fail for the same reason: they describe the person writing them instead of the group they want. "Chill player looking for people" tells a reader nothing they can act on.

Four things get a post answered. Say how many players you need, not how many you have. Say when — "now" is a real answer and the best one. Say the one thing you care about, whether that is a mic, a rank, a region or just not raging. And leave out everything else: a long post reads like a list of requirements, and the people who clear every requirement are not the ones browsing an LFG feed.

One more: when your group fills, close the lobby. Stale posts are the reason people stopped trusting Discord LFG channels, and a board full of them is worth less to you than to anyone.

VRChat LFG on Discord vs AnySquad

Discord is where most VRChat LFG still happens, and for a server you are already in, it works. The problem is what an LFG channel becomes after a week: a scroll of posts with no way to tell which are live. You message six people, four are offline, one filled an hour ago, and the sixth never set the role that lets them see your reply.

AnySquad is the same idea without the archaeology. A lobby is a post that knows whether it is still open — when it fills or the host closes it, it stops being shown. You do not join a server, get a role, read the rules and then ask; you open the VRChat feed, see who needs a player right now, and join.

If your group already lives on Discord, keep it there — AnySquad's bot posts your lobbies into your own server, so finding people and playing with them do not have to be the same tool.

Can I find a VRChat group for a specific world?

Yes. Hosts list which world or activity they're in, so you join the one you want.

Are VRChat lobbies region-specific?

Yes. Filter by region to keep ping low.

Can I find casual hangouts versus structured activities?

Hosts often mention their intent — filter for the vibe you want.

Why not just join a random public instance?

Random public instances can be empty or dead. AnySquad shows groups that are actually active right now.
