Finding Apex Teammates That Won't Hot-Drop and Die

Your random fill Octane just dropped Fragment solo, died in 4 seconds, and left. Every. Single. Game. Let's fix that.

Your random fill experience in Apex Legends, in order of frequency:

  1. Octane drops Fragment East, dies in 4 seconds, spam-pings banner, leaves
  2. Both teammates are silent. No pings, no comms, nothing. Just vibes.
  3. Hot-drop, get 3rd partied, dead before you find a weapon
  4. One decent game with randoms who immediately go offline after

Ranked makes it worse. Apex ranked with randoms is basically a bet: "am I strong enough to offset two teammates who don't communicate?" Usually the answer is no, and you lose RP.

The r/ApexLFG Experience

Reddit's r/ApexLFG has 90K+ members. The format: you write a post with your rank, platform, region, and playstyle. Then you wait for DMs. Sometimes you get them. Sometimes you don't. Sometimes the person who DMs you is 4 ranks below what they claimed.

It works eventually, but it's slow. You might spend 20 minutes finding 2 people, and then one of them leaves after 1 game.

What to Actually Look For

The specifics matter more in Apex than most games:

The Fast Way

Open AnySquad's Apex Legends page. See who's looking right now. Check their description for rank, server, and playstyle. Join in one click. You're in a game in under a minute.

No posts, no DMs, no waiting. If the lobby fills while you're looking at it, it disappears — everything you see is live.
